Trail Running

The thing you'll like about running in our beautiful surroundings ... is that you can set the start and finish line wherever you want. Excellent trails and routes lead around lovely Verwall Reservoir or take you from St. Anton to Schnann, along the banks of Rosanna River. Awesome trails begin outside Galzig Lodge’s door and continue into some of the world’s most spectacular outdoor lands.

Mountain Biking

Biking is an excellent way to explore this very special place: St. Anton rocks when it comes to the hard tail, soft tail, off-trail fun of mountain biking, offering a spectacular 200-kilometre mapped complex of off-road trails and single track. St. Anton has it all, from easy-going dirt roads to rugged single track for all ability levels that will keep avid mountain bikers here longer than expected. Explore quaint mountain huts, picturesque rest stops and awesome vantage spots. Favourite local tours include Tritsch Alpe, Putzenalpe, Rodelalm and Konstanzer Hut, to name but a few. And did you know that St. Anton is lying on the legendary Transalp Route, crossing the Alps from Germany to Italy? Mountain bikers from all over the world come to the Arlberg Mountains to tackle this fat-tire paradise and you can bet the area is home to an abundance of spectacular mountain bike trails.

Road Cycling

Not into the rocky road? With scenic and amazing road-biking routes all around St. Anton, you can get your fill of cycling no matter what the speed and what direction. There are miles of paved, flat roads for the more casual pedaler and scenic mountain pass routes for those wanting to burn up some extra energy: Across Arlberg Pass, over three mountain passes to Bregenz, along Silvretta High Alpine Road or atop Hahntenjoch Saddle. Belay, belay on. Climbing, climb on! With sheer rock faces and cliffs, demanding boulders and a varied via ferrata to choose from, you could spend weeks conquering the Climbers Paradise at St. Anton. And those stunning views, reaching from the Lechtal and Allgäu Alps over the Stubai and Ötztal Alps to Verwall and Silvretta Ranges. Less experienced climbers are recommended to climb the mountains with highly trained and experienced guides who first teach safety, judgment, and risk awareness and prevention. During your climbing adventure, the guides foster a love of the vertical and Alpine environment and create an educational experience that will prepare you to venture out on your own in the future.

Aerial Forest Ropes Course in Verwall Valley

Take your adventure to new heights at this outstanding outdoor climbing adventure, high up in the trees and on the banks of Rosanna River. The aerial adventure park whisks riders over the mountain terrain, where they enjoy mountain and river views, dramatic cliffs and the beauty of Arlberg Area’s dramatic landscape — from high above it. You’ll fly, climb, swing and scale new heights above spruces and pines on stainless steel cables and swings, tight wires, catwalks and more. The park consists of eight courses with varying levels of difficulty. At some points you will be six meters in the trees and off the ground.
